License Update: Clarified Rights
We’ve updated Section 4.1(f) to prevent misinterpretation.
Was: “f) sell or distribute 2D images generated through the rendering of 3D models derived from the Assets.“
Now: “f) sell or distribute 2D images generated through the rendering of 3D models derived from the Assets as standalone items or products, or in any manner that allows such images to be used independently of a Product. This restriction does not apply to such images when used as part of Products or promotional materials for Products as permitted under Section 3.3(b).“
The new wording clearly confirms that using renders in your game’s marketing, trailers, and promotional content is permitted. Selling renders solely as individual stock images remains prohibited.
