How to use a coupon?

Can I use free assets in commercial products?

Yes, each asset pack can be used to create an unlimited number of end products. However, you are not allowed to:

  • Distribute the files “as is” (even for free);
  • Modify or create derivative files (or distribute any modified versions of derivative files) unless it is part of a final product; or
  • Use the files in any tool or application that allows the end user to create a custom product as part of “on-demand,” “made-to-order,” or “build-it-yourself” services.

Do you offer discounts for purchasing multiple models?

Can I sell 2D renders of your assets?

Direct sales of 2D images created by rendering 3D models are not allowed.

Do you provide a Custom License for NFT/Blockchain?

The license for using our 3D models does not include the right to create, sell, or distribute NFTs (non-fungible tokens) on any blockchain platforms. Any use of our models for creating or trading NFTs is a violation of the license terms.

Do you provide a Custom License for the Metaverse?

The license for using our 3D models does not include the right to use them in the Metaverse (virtual worlds or platforms built on blockchain technology), including but not limited to projects like Decentraland, The Sandbox, and others. Any use of our models in such environments without additional permission is a violation of the license terms.

How can I request a refund?

Please contact us at support@ithappystudios.com if you have a problem with the product. In exceptional cases we may be able to issue a refund.

What should I do in case of technical issues with the models?

We provide support via Discord (https://discord.gg/invite/DtckvszZgk) and email at support@ithappystudios.com. If you encounter technical issues with the models, contact us, and we will help you find a solution.

Do you provide documentation or instructions for using your models?

Our YouTube channel features several tutorials on working with textures and customizing characters. We plan to release more guides in the future and are always open to suggestions for new educational content.

Do you update your models, and how can I get updates?

If an update is released, you will receive a notification on the platform where the purchase was made or via email. Updates are infrequent because we design our packs to be self-sufficient from the start.

Do you have examples of finished projects that used your models?

Where can I find animations for 3D models?

Some models already include animations. If you need more, you can reach out to us for custom animation services or use your own animator.

Is it possible to get sample models before purchasing?

We offer free sample packs for preview. Additionally, we provide plenty of videos and screenshots to help you make an informed decision before purchasing.

Do you have estimated release dates for new asset packs or a roadmap for future releases?

We understand your interest in our future releases; however, we do not provide exact release dates or a public roadmap for asset packs. The development and release process is dynamic and can depend on many factors, so we prefer not to make specific promises regarding deadlines.

Technical Questions

What file formats do you provide?

We provide Unity Package, Unreal Engine, Blender, C4D, Maya, 3DSMax, FBX, OBJ, GLTF, STL. However, please check the description of each pack before purchasing, as certain formats may temporarily be unavailable.

For convenience, files in FBX, OBJ, GLTF, and STL formats are provided in two versions: Separate assets (each asset in a separate file) and All assets (all assets in one file).

If your desired format is not available, feel free to contact us, and we may be able to assist you.

Do your models come with textures? Do you offer models with PBR textures?

Yes, they do. However, PBR textures are used in only a few packs. Most of the time, we use a universal texture to optimize performance. You can learn more about our texture workflow in the article on our blog: https://ithappystudios.com/blog/uv-unwrapping-how-to-do-it-easily-and-quickly/.

Do you support different levels of detail (LOD) for your models?

We do not use different levels of detail (LOD) since our models are already well-optimized. We carefully balance optimization and visual quality in model development. The polygon count for our scenes typically ranges from 50,000 to 150,000 triangles. You can check this information for each asset pack in the Technical Info section.

Are your models compatible with specific game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine)?

Our models are fully compatible with game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. We also provide models in popular formats (FBX, OBJ, etc.), ensuring easy integration into various engines and workflows. However, we do not provide technical support for integrating models into third-party engines like Godot.

How is the rigging system implemented in your character models?

Our character models use rigging compatible with major game engine standards. For Unity, we support the Humanoid rig, making it easy to integrate models into projects using animations from various sources. For Unreal Engine (UE), we implement rigging based on the UE Skeleton, ensuring compatibility with the engine and allowing for the use of pre-existing animations and characters with minimal setup.

Do you have models specifically designed for VR/AR projects?

Yes, our models are well-suited for use in VR/AR projects. During development, we ensure that models have proper proportions and scaling for VR environments so they appear natural and comfortable for users.
