  • Customization Tool for Unity: is a convenient tool that allows you to browse assets by category, try them on or toggle them on/off on the model. You can also generate a random model! (Just press the “Randomize” button and see what you get), and save the model as a prefab. You can assign your own name. A very simple tool that is easy to use and requires no learning curve.

  • Character Controller for Unity: press the “Play” button and control your zombie, moving with “WASD”. The controller is set up for a third-person view. You can adjust the camera settings to choose the angle and distance that work best for you.
  • Zombies Mini is a smaller version of this pack. It’s perfect if you need fewer assets or want to try it before purchasing the full version.
  • Ease of Use. The pack includes two files with different Unity versions, and in each one, the scene is set up in three render pipelines. Simply download the version you need and open the scene in your preferred render pipeline. Everything is clear and easy to use.
  • Optimized Models. Each model is designed with a limited number of textures, an optimized mesh, and simple shaders, ensuring smooth performance across mobile devices, VR/AR, PCs, and consoles. With these assets, your project will maintain excellent performance while delivering stunning visuals.
  • Support. Free updates and technical support available in our Discord.

This zombie pack is excellent. It fits perfectly into any low-poly zombie game and blends nicely with other assets. The models worked flawlessly with my animations and character controllers. Absolutely worth the purchase!

Я надеюсь, это баг: цена на такой набор должна быть 1000$+ 🙂

    First, the good:

The zombie meshes and outfits look excellent! There is a lot of visual variety, and the designs are great, although unfortunately all of the zombies appear to be male.

Most assets also use a single, simple material and texture setup, which is excellent for memory usage. The meshes seem well optimized overall.

    The neutral:

The included animations should mostly be treated as demonstrations. Many appear to be Mixamo animations and do not necessarily fit the context of the pack, including a large number of dancing animations such as salsa, rumba, jazz, and hip-hop.

I would not purchase this expecting a complete or particularly useful zombie animation set.

    The bad:

The characters are not usable out of the box with standard Unreal Engine workflows.

The skeleton is not based on either the UE4 or UE5 Mannequin, which would be manageable by itself. The larger issue is that the bone intended to function as the root is not actually the root of the skeleton hierarchy.

I first attempted the simplest solution: runtime retargeting with an IK Rig. The results were poor, likely because of the skeleton hierarchy issue.

The reliable solution has been to export each mesh, rig and skin it again in Blender, and then reimport it using the UE5 skeleton. With approximately 245 meshes in the pack, this represents a considerable amount of additional work.

According to the developers on Discord, they are aware of the Unreal Engine skeleton issues and intend to address them, but there is currently no estimated timeline.

    Bottom line:

The models themselves are very good, but Unreal Engine users should expect significant rigging work before they can be used properly.

You will either need to handle that work yourself, rely on the provided animations despite the limitations mentioned above, wait and hope the Unreal setup is eventually fixed, or simply pass on this pack.

I decided to keep the package instead of requesting a refund because I bought it on sale, the models are great, and I’m comfortable making the necessary adjustments.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write such a detailed and objective review.

We really appreciate constructive feedback like this. You’re absolutely right about the current Unreal Engine skeleton setup. It’s an issue we’re aware of, and updating our humanoid characters to a proper Unreal-compatible skeleton is already on our roadmap.

Our goal is to make the characters work out of the box with standard Unreal Engine workflows, without requiring users to re-rig or re-skin them.

We’re also glad you liked the models themselves and decided to keep the pack despite the current limitations. Feedback like yours helps us prioritize the improvements that matter most.

      Thanks again!
